The Newburgh Volunteer Fire Department is a completely volunteer fire department which serves the residents of the city of Newburgh and Ohio Township.  The department staffs an average of 40 volunteers and availability of around 10 cadet firefighters.  We average around 350 runs per year.

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote safety and minimize the loss of life and property by means of fire prevention, fire education safety, fire suppression and emergency rescue.  To promote and encourage improvement in the practices and skills of its members related to all aspects of fire fighting and rescue.
